Regarding Mad Men

It's interesting to see (SPOILER ALERT) a show build enough genuine tension in a slow, somewhat studied (albeit at times heavy-handed) way that when a major plot twist occurs, e.g., the potential firing of one of the show's key (and most loathsome) players, the viewer is seriously shocked and bummed. Every episode of Mad Men truly is like a mini-movie. Nice job, AMC.

I've only watched berts and purses, but I have enjoyed what I've seen. Mostly because of the super-overt sexism stuff.

I enjoy it thoroughly and long for it when it is gone.
