Incidentally,

a) I never knew that Mariska Hargitay's mom was Jayne Mansfield and her dad was Mr. Universe, and

b) Mariska Hargitay's website is awesome.

Notify yourselves.

Dear Cable,

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now. Couldn't possibly handle another show or TVD right now. But thanks!

Regarding Mad Men

It's interesting to see (SPOILER ALERT) a show build enough genuine tension in a slow, somewhat studied (albeit at times heavy-handed) way that when a major plot twist occurs, e.g., the potential firing of one of the show's key (and most loathsome) players, the viewer is seriously shocked and bummed. Every episode of Mad Men truly is like a mini-movie. Nice job, AMC.

"Teen Wolf" Deep Thought

What a good metaphor, right? I mean, weren't we all "teen wolves" at that age, eh?

You're welcome,

I Got a Job

My job search was taking such a long time, I thought for sure that my prospective employers had found my myspace page. Turns out, they didn't! Phew to the max.

Thank God I finally found a job, because you can only fool around on Wikipedia for so many days before you start to lose it. I think I realized I'd hit rockbottom when I Wikipedia-searched "Wikipedia."

In other news, DOES ANYONE HAVE THE TEEN WOLF SOUNDTRACK? I NEED THE SONG "SILHOUETTE" BY DAVID PALMER AFUCKINGSAP.
